MATTHEW TULEY
Through hard work, dedication, and studying their techniques our Young Champions have been able to achieve recognition on an International level at the largest tournaments in the World.
Matthew is 11 years old and has been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 6 years at Corral’s Martial Arts. Over the past few years, he has competed in many BJJ Tournaments all over the Midwest and abroad. He has done very well and placed at the following international tournaments.
2014 BJJ Kid’s World Champion Gi & No-Gi
2015 BJJ Kid’s World Champion Gi & No-Gi
2016 BJJ Kid’s World Champion No-Gi & 2nd in Gi
2016 IBJJF Nationals Champion
2016 IBJJF Pan American 2nd Place
2017 IBJJF Pan American 1st Place
2017 IBJJF Nationals Champion
16 Expert Division Naga Championships
The above accomplishments are no easy task and Matthew has come along way since first beginning BJJ. Before training with Corral’s Martial Arts he lacked concentration, had lots unused energy, and had mediocre grades in school. Through his martial arts journey Matthew has been able to develop determination, confidence, focus, and leadership skills; all while achieving A’s and B’s in school and instilling a belief that he can achieve anything in life. Other than excelling on the mat, he has also developed into a leader on his school basketball team and amongst friends.
