Joyce Zartuche is a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Brown Belt at Corral's Martial Arts

JOYCE ZARTUCHE

Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coaches are certified by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Joyce is a 51 year old Brown Belt and has been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 5 years at Corral’s Martial Arts. Currently, she is a Substitute Teacher in Portage Township and loves to train BJJ in her free time. Joyce is married with 4 kids, to Martin Zartuche, who is a Black Belt instructor at the gym. She loves being able to train with her kids and grandkids as it is a great way to bond with them. Initially, her interest in the sport was sparked by her husband’s passion for it and she also wanted to learn how to defend herself. Over the years she has continued to train consistently because it is a great way to stay active, healthy, and competitive. Some fun facts about her is that she is a 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, loves spending time with her family, playing board games, being creative with arts n’ crafts.
