Donnell Etienne is a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Black Belt at Corral's Martial Arts

DONNELL ETIENNE

All of our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructors at CMA have been certified by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Donnell is a 45 year old Black Belt and has been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 12 years at Corral’s Martial Arts. Currently, he is a police captain at the Northwest Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and loves to train BJJ in his free time. Initially, his interest in the sport was sparked through his police work, as Brazilian Jiu-jitsu helps tremendously when controlling resisting subjects. Over the years he has continued to train consistently because it enhances his ability to work with the public, builds confidence so he doesn’t have to rely on weapons with resisting subjects, and it keeps him in great shape. Some fun facts about Donnell are that he loves to travel, go to heavy metal concerts, and he used to competitive body build.
